The Context

Listening to staff, customers, stakeholders, financials and your wider environment will often bring up a need to change the way you perform and deliver products and services. To be constructive and lead to success this process has to be structured, planned and regular. Otherwise it may raise serious challenges and problems.

Case Study

We were asked by a small company in the financial services industry to help them understand why their level of sales and income was not as anticipated after several years in business. Through a series of interviews and assessment exercises we were able to produce a matrix of activities which needed to be addressed. Each activity impacted on the others and contributed to the problem. A significant issue, which very quickly needed attention, was around performance management and HR policies. In consultation with staff and the management we introduced a new reward scheme and backed this up by a review while tightening up key HR policies.
